DANCE -50′- text

« bang bang » is a scenic dancing object from a courageous soloist performing about the notion of resistance.
The piece sets partition as a challenge and questions the idea of performance in a literal and figurative sense, from the exhibition space to the metaphor of our occidental contemporary rythms.
Gradually, the sweat starts to drip, the cracks get more obvious, and the intimacy of a dancing being starts to appear because of transparence.
The performer goes on  dancing, until alienation, until not knowing why and how, or the necessity of being here right now.
The audience travels through this kinetic crusade as a precious witness. No narrative. Only a body, alive, facing the exaltation of a challenge where pleasure and suffering reveal the compexity of existing in a paradoxal ambiguous and multi-layered space
