DANCE – 45′- Text

The choreographic project No se trata de un desnudo mitológico is a physical work inspired by the bodies of gymnasts, athletes, majorettes… a proposal that explores the notion of physical fanaticism. The play staged a “circus of the body” based on a series of postures and physical states from a work created on the contortion, muscle contraction or physical strength.

Aina Alegre develops her work as a dancer, choreographer and performer.

She studies a multidisciplinary formation of dance, theater and singing and after that she studies at the National Center of Contemporary Dance (CNDC) in Frence, where she met differents artists and choreographers that helps her to improve her choreographic culture.

Since 2009 she develops her own artistic work. She is interested in practice related to creation and mixing of differents disciplines. She thinks choreography as a friction place for reinvent the “body”, and the “dance” from a choreographic writing, often fed by plastic materials, sounds and cinematography.
