The second edition of the cycle curated by LiveSoundTracks we can see the showcase of Deena Abdelwahed (TN – Arabstazy), coming from the Tunisian alternative music scene, Deena works to inject a dose of innovation and experimentation in Electro Dance Music in Tunisia. By combining urban rhythms and personal touch, it offers avantgarde music particularly energetic.

She debuts as a funk & jazz singer 2 years before she joins the World Full of Bass collective in 2011, introduced by Shinigami San, one of the first performers of experimental electronic music in Tunisia. As she continues to DJ in the most shifted Tunisian nights, she also performs Live in several occasions by herself surely but mostly with her new collective Arabstazy. Whether for a cinéconcert in Tunis at the “Institut français” or in club/music venues in Paris and Marseille, France and Brussels, Belgium or open air venues like in Tozeur and Hammamet, Tunisia in front of more than 5000 spectators.

She is working on her new residency in Berlin for a radio project with CTM festival and Deutschlandradio Kultur, that will take place late January.

An EP is on its way, as well, thanks to Full Fridge French label.
