PREMIERE IN SPAIN
PART OF CICLO ORO
IN COLLABORATION WITH PACT ZOLVEREIN
THANKS TO THE SUPPORT OF IBERESCENA AND FUNARTE

Marcela Levi (Brazil) and Lucía Russo (Argentina) are two well known choreographers with a strong scope in European platforms. Their choreographic work, always strong and substantial, inspired by deep knowledge and reflection on the society they live in, pushes the dancers to show all the potential of their expressive capacities. In 2017 they premiered Boca de Ferro in Hiroshima, a solo danced by the remarkable Icaro dos Passos Gaia. In this opportunity, they return from Río de Janeiro, where their company is settled, to propose an ambitious project that will connect six of its members with ten local participants. During two intensive weeks of immersive work in the theatre they will create an investigative framework in which to share methodologies that they have been developing over these last few years. The research will focus on the figure of the idiot as a character who opens up the possibility of hesitation.
