SHOW CREATED IN RESIDENCE IN HIROSHIMA
80′

The stage creator Francesc Cuellar (My Low Cost Revolution, Los Bancos Regalan Sandwicheras y Chorizos) stars the third part of Albert Arribas’ #SR pentalogy, which started in Hiroshima with Orationibus #SR last year and continued with Annus Irritabilis #SR at the TNC.

A project that can be described as a scenic investigation of the frontiers of modernity. Illud Mysticum #SR focuses on the collapse of artistic and philosophical idealism on which contemporary economic materialism is rooted.

Illud Mysticum #SR is a danced oratory for solo voice. The life, calvary and death of the last mystic of Catalonia. A story of priests in Hiroshima. And of pious devotees. And of liberal politicians. And of holyfathers and hailmaries. And of children locked up in the seminary. And of bishops who eat chocolate.
