Musically, the city of Bethlehem, capital of Para state located in northern Brazil, is formed by Amazon Caribbean smuggling routes. In the 1950s, the ships bringing perfumes and whiskey also loaded vinyl merengue, salsa and zouk. Sixty years later, the influence of Caribbean sonorities made the music paraense drain into the “Tecnobrega” musical genre created by OWNERSHIP AND ALTERATION of popular music. The “aparelhagens” FURIOUS and monumental sound structures today ENCOURAGE the parties Tecnobrega began as pushcarts with a turntable and a speaker called in the 1950s of “picarpes”. The sound projector bore the nickname BOCA DE FIERRO.

Our landscape is the word Bethlehem, where there is confusion, chaos, noise and hubbub. What is disoriented, lost or exultation.

How about a dance solo of mega sound, a rotating machine gun, a dance-aparelhagem, a body-ship that comes off of the identity and trembles furiously?
