Is there a European culture that we all share? Going from film to choreography, from dance to live concert, from photo exhibition to poetry slam, BARBARE (zone -XIV-) / European Museum of Translation is an ensemble of twenty-eight short performances named after every country in the European Union. Initiated by the french artists Mélodie Lasselin & Simon Capelle, this international team project questions the forms, the representations, the langages of arts and their ability to reveal a disappearing world. This is not documentary theatre, this is an opening of sensibilities, emotions, gestures in order to create moving identities, to dismantle barbarian behaviors, to confront our own weaknesses. A radical performance between life and stage.

In residency in Sala Hiroshima from 8th to 12th June 2020.
